Design
Design by North Arrow Studio. The Over/Under House has a sleek modern design comprised of steel, glass, stucco, and limestone. Many of the lots nearby are deed restricted to one story, so, to best fit into the area, the design allocates as much square footage as possible to the first floor. Over/Under House is focused on open, functional living with an emphasis on indoor/outdoor elements that tie the exterior living spaces to the interior of the home.

Design
The Canopy Residence, designed by North Arrow Studio, is organized around two huge live oaks and a double cedar tree, creating the feeling that the home is nestled between the trees. In addition, the plan layout creates multiple opportunities for private courtyards (including a covered deck with a pool) with plenty of shade. To blend with the scale and character of the neighborhood, the front facade is designed as a one-story structure with a broad and welcoming porch that reinforces the architectural aesthetic of the area. The exterior is largely brick, inspired by the high number of brick mid-century modern homes in the area.
The house has three bedrooms and three and a half baths. The primary living spaces, master suite, and a flex bedroom/office/pool cabana are on the first floor. The second floor has its own living space and two bedrooms with a jack and jill bathroom. The brick from the interior carries into the interior throughout the house. The main courtyard, surrounded by living spaces, has a pool and large covered deck with ceiling fans. The master suite has a spa-like bathroom and a private master courtyard. Since the lot backs to an alley, there is a two-car garage with rare alley access.
